Dalhousie swimmers Emilie Schofield and Quinn Nolan named East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athletes of the Week
Schofield dominates with multiple wins and U SPORTS qualifiers, while Nolan sweeps all four 50m events and breaks two Dalhousie records.

Emilie Schofield from the Dalhousie Tigers women’s swim team is the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 30, 2025.
A fifth-year kinesiology student from Miramichi, N.B., Schofield led the Tigers to a first-place team finish at Dalhousie’s Kemp Fry Invitational swim meet this past weekend.
She finished first in the 800m freestyle, 200m and 400m individual medleys, and 200m backstroke events. She also attained a U SPORTS qualifying time in all four events.
Schofield was a member of Dalhousie’s winning relay teams in the 400m and 800m freestyle event, as well as the 400m medley relay.

Quinn Nolan from the Dalhousie Tigers men’s swim team has been named the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 30, 2025.
A fifth-year student from London, Ont., Nolan led the Tigers to a first-place team finish at Dalhousie’s Kemp Fry Invitational swim meet this past weekend.
He earned a first-place finish in all four 50m events—backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly—achieving a personal best time in all of them.
Nolan also set two new Dalhousie school records in the 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly events. He posted U SPORTS qualifying times in these two events as well, along with the 50m backstroke.
He was also a part of Dalhousie’s winning relay team in the 400m freestyle relay event.
Throughout the 2025-26 season, each East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week will receive a $50 ECL gift card and a signed certificate, courtesy of East Coast Lifestyle and Atlantic University Sport.
